Education

In 1999 he graduated from the International School of Herzen University and entered the St. Petersburg State University. In 2001, there was a competition of several thousand people for a place and transferred to Columbia University in New York, from which he graduated with honors in 2004.

Professional activity

After graduation, he participated in the creation of one of the largest online brokerage firms in the world - Capital Market Services LLC. In the company, he was responsible for project management for the development of the entire product line. Created and launched 18 projects, including the flagship Visual Trader trading platform.

In 5 years the company has grown from a startup to a large business - 100,000 clients, $ 500 billion in trade turnover per month, 8 global offices, including a research and development center for 70 people and a European sales office in Russia, which Levy created and headed since 2007 ... In 2010, CMS was sold to Gain Capital, and Levy joined the advisory board of the combined company.

In 2009, together with a group of talented programmers and experts from the field of education, Levy launched Dnevnik.ru - a project that aims to revolutionize education by making it technologically advanced, modern and accessible to everyone. As CEO, Levy is responsible for strategy, operational planning, team building and global development.

Briefly about the achievements of Dnevnik.ru to date

  • The largest educational portal in Russia with more than 30 thousand registered schools (> 60% of the school market in Russia) and 9 million users;
  • A wide technologically advanced product line covering the levels of the education system from preschool to vocational secondary;
  • Participation in the creation of the concept of the federal project "Contingent", aggregating information about the entire contingent of students in Russia from all levels of education. Successful development and first market launch of this product;
  • More than 500 schools have moved away from the paper diary / journal and are using Diary.ru as their only reporting tool;
  • 3 revenue streams were successfully launched: licensing, online advertising, application center;
  • Cooperation has been built with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, OJSC Rostelecom, Skolkovo, VEB;
